...“contain intelligence, messages, meaning and motivation.” If you've ever watched a bad tattoos cover-up show on TV you would understand the intelligence our government seeks. Top secret motives like drunk, high, for the girls, free tat, etc. Scary stuff, ya know?

About ten years ago, I was working on a construction job with a small crew, one of whom was about twenty years old and the foreman's nephew. Nephew had one of those bar code tats on his neck and when I asked him what product he was, the uncle, overhearing, snapped "fucking idiot". We all had a good laugh at the "idiot's" expense.

Here's a short video of ants with ATC-like tags and also goal, battery-life, wifi, and signal strength indicators. (ATC = Air Traffic Control)
I imagine this sort of tracking on people in the future, especially on the battle field.

How about all those Asian character tats on non-Asian people (who don't even speak a word of any Asian language)? Ya wanna ask 'em, "What's that say, 'Beef with Broccoli'?" How about all those folks with tats in Hebrew who aren't even Jewish (Jews aren't supposed to have tattoos)? What about all the barbed-wire tattoos (which are supposed to signify that the wearer has been in prison) on folks who have never been incarcerated?
Isn't it a little like the popularity of "distressed" clothing on people who have never done a lick of physical work? - 6/11/16, 12:49 AM
