First ... get a girlfriend…
1. Don't marry her.
2. Use your mom's address to receive your mail.
3. The guy buys a house.
4. Guy rents out house to his girl girlfriend who has 2 of his kids.
5. Section 8 will pay $900 a month for a 3 bedroom home.
6. Girlfriend signs up for Obamacare so guy doesn't have to pay for family insurance.

12. Girlfriend claims one kid and guy claims one kid on taxes. Now you both get to claim head of household at $1,800 credit.
13. Girlfriend gets disability for being "crazy" or having a "bad back" at $1,800 a month and never has to work again.
This plan is perfectly legal and is being executed now by millions of people.
A married couple with a stay at home mom yields $0 dollars. An unmarried couple with stay at home mom nets $21,600 disability + $10,800 free housing + $6,000 free obamacare + $6,000 free food + $4,800 free utilities + $6,000 Pell Grant money to spend + $12,000 a year in college tuition free from Pell Grant + $8,800 tax benefit for being a single mother = $75,000 a year in benefits.
Any idea why the country is 18 + trillion in debt?

Hmmm...Seems it would still work if you are collecting Social Security. Might work as a retirement plan, just have to find a college age girl who wants two kids. Sounds better than working at Walmart. Might get back some of the taxes paid over the years. Does she have to be a legal citizen?.

In 2009 the market had tanked for three years in S. Florida. I did some accounting work for a guy that was buying foreclosed houses in middle class neighborhoods and turning them section 8. For 120K he would no money down a house, and dump 30 grand into it. "I want this house NICE, I want her to raise those kids here and never move". The gubment paid him 1800.00 a month for that house. The money went straight to him. Baby Daddy of course lived there with some of the kids that were his. She got EBT, and all other stuff. The guy had it figured out. She would have to make 62K a year to clear the money for her disposable income.

The down side of course, as always, is the plumber next door that bought the house 12 years ago and works his ass off. His house is his only real investment. With 4 section 8 houses on his street, he is better to walk away. He will never make a dime off his house for all his efforts. His financial plans are smashed. This is why white flight doesn't make you a racist, it makes you a survivor if your timing is right. -Anymouse

Anymouse -
You just described my housing development to a "T".
After the last bubble; close to 80% of the houses in my neighborhood were foreclosed on.
Probably 70 percent of THOSE ended up as "Section 8" housing.
Of the ones that didn't: the new rental prices are now HALF of what I pay on my mortgage.
I am now 45% upside down on my mortgage to loan value.

Color me "the fool" initially for purchasing a home that I could afford.
Color me "the idiot" for continuing to make my payments on time and trying to build and retain a decent "credit rating".
Color me "damned" because the only way I get out of this now is walking away or dying here.

THANK YOU FEDERAL GOVERNMENT AND ALL OF YOUR PARASITES!!
DAMN YOU ALL TO HELL!!!

...oh.
Did I fail to mention that all of my "Section 8" neighbors drive no vehicles more than a year or two old and under $30k?
Meanwhile I'm trying to limp along with two vehicles that are more than 12 years old that I couldn't sell for the money I'd get if I scrapped them.

*GRRRR* *GNASH* *SPUTTER*

...time to self-medicate.
Wheres the liquor cabinet?

You can buy and fix up a house in Section 8 neighborhoods for $20-30 thousand, and pull in $10800 per year. Pretty sweet if you want to work in those neighborhoods, and the government puts the rent directly into your account so you don't have to collect from your renters. Guys in these neighborhoods keep several baby mamas in their phone for when they are arrested. The cops drive them to an ATM,and the baby mamas show up to get bail money for the baby daddy with their EBT cards. (Straight from a cop who works in a river town in Southern Illinois.)
