There is a short read of a book called "How Do You Kill 11 Million People: Why The Truth Matters". Kinda lets you know that a government that lies to you probably does not have your best interests in mind.
The Nazi's gathered the Jews into fenced Ghettos in order to keep them safe from the invading Russians. It was all very congenial at first. -

Is there a source for these stats? I'd love to share this with my liberal friends. Read 'Ordinary Men' by Christopher Browning for a rather disconcerting perspective on the Nazi influence on the local populations. I am absolutely sure the current wave of 'lone wolf' incidents over the past several years are examples of this concept in action today (you do not need to live in the same village as your soldiers if you have an internet). Not that it matters how the influence is made, they are still terrorists.
