When state budgets need to be cut the universities cry and scream that they have cut to the bone and there is nothing left. We have a professor in Georgia making over $600k and there are many that make $150-$200k.

Highest paid state officials in most states are the head coaches at the state universities.

Anon, at least Harbaugh brings some value to Michigan unlike a "Chief Diversity Officer".

C'mon, let's give him a break! After all, he has a BS in Psych from Howard, where he played football, and his PHD in Personality Psych from U-M. Plus he's associate faculty for their research center for Group Dynamics (can you say Community Organizer?) As the Psych Dept Chair, he gives lectures like “Inspiring the Minds of African-American Researchers: Yes I Can!”
So I'm SURE he's going to be fair and even handed to all kinds of diversity, even white kids. Worth every penny!

I didn't see any references to papers on that link - I assume that means that he has none (no professor who had published papers would NOT brag about it).
"Personality Psych"? I thought that Education degrees were light in the intellectual rigor! - 11/1/16, 11:59 AM

"WTF is a Diversity Officer?"
Methinks it's akin to a "Vice-President in charge of Special Markets", which translates to "High Profile Person of Color" to provide highly-visible evidence of how "diverse" the organization is.
