Sure as hell someone had a recorder going and they are going to leak that meeting.
I'm reminding of an old reply to "How are you feeling?" , "like hammered shit."
The media just got hammered. Unleash the tumble bugs! - 11/22/16, 1:00 AM

The meeting has been pretty well leaked. DJT did a magnificent job on these bastards. Next thing, when he's president, he'll hold news conferences with only Drudge, Breitbart, and a few conservative news outlets present, but none of the old alphabet soup, nor CNN. Let's see how they like them apples.

Amazing (amusing?) that people think that a very respectful statement is something to be upset about.
But fact is that Trump's unpresidential temper tantrum provided the sort of publicity that money can't buy. Instead of a couple of column inches in the entertainment sections of the New York papers it's now on the front page of virtually every newspaper in the country. Guaranteed to increase the demand for tickets (it's already sold out years in advance and the resale prices are in four digits).
Threats to boycott the show won't make any difference because the vast majority of people making those threats would never have attended in the first place.

In what world was that a "respectful" statement? It was patently offensive. "We're worried that you won't protect us…": the subtext is that "we" need "protection" because America is a racist country and minorities are all at risk of being lynched by KKK types at any moment.
