Years ago I stayed at Nemacolin Woods Resort which was owned by the founder of 84 Lumber, Joe Hardy. He was going through a divorce at the time. It was one of many. At the age of 84 he married a 22 year old employee of the resort.
The rumor at the time I was there was that it was soon to become 42 Lumber. -

42 Lumber? We're not sure we get it. We expected something about how many times 84 can "go into" 22. Wouldja 'splain it, please? Is it about how she was gonna take him for half the company?
Somehow the thought of an 84 yr. old man marrying a 22 yr. old (just barely a) woman makes us think of The Eagles' "Lyin' Eyes":

I believe the 42 Lumber rumor was as a result of his split from the 1st wife - a division of assets. The 22 year old came later, and with a prenup. At this point it well could be 10.5 Lumber.

The was an old joke about a Florida condo. The manager said the average age was 40. 20 year old trophy wives married to 60 year old men.
