My old HP laptop was sacrificed to Win 10; it's now unuseable. I won't be putting any more computers on the MS altar to be destroyed.
Besides, I'm now in the process of removing what I can from my online presence in the Cloud. Don't want any more cloud-based anything, personally; I want my stuff to remain on my computer under my control. Anyone wants to see it, they'll have to ask.
Just got a new Protonmail email account, which features end-to-end encryption; I've also uninstalled Skype and have installed Spybot Anti-Beacon, which blocks telemetry to/from Microsoft & others. Maybe I'm too paranoid?
I just hope I'm being paranoid enough! -
