This speech confirms what so many of us already realize, that there is an enormous amount of propaganda being sold as fact. I once sat in on a court room case where a prison inmate caused injury to the officer (my husband) and the defense attempted to portray the poor convict as a victim. The prosecutor explained to the room that the defending attorney was using what was called "the squid defense" It is when you shoot so much ink into the water it's hard to see the truth. That was in 1993 and I've always remembered it. Apparently, we have some giant squids in America these days.
