Netflix will begin offering a film chronicling the life of Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan on August 1 despite the activist’s penchant for resorting to anti-semitic and anti-gay slurs.

The documentary, The Honourable Minister Louis Farrakhan: My Life’s Journey Through Music, was produced in 2014 by Farrakhan’s son and chronicles the minister’s life as an activist and fringe political figure.

The documentary will be released on August 1, according to a list of newly licensed films Netflix released this month. Farrakhan teased the Netflix release in a Monday tweet. [FULL]

It's been over a decade since I cut the cable cord, and over 5 years since I dropped Netflix (yes, they're still emailing me to come back) and I haven't missed it at all.

You're a TV watcher, which I never was, so you might check into Kodi; friends tell me that it's great for free TV.

Dropping Amazon would be much harder. The mall I used to shop at is now just a hangout for the local thugs, and most of the shops there have gone; gotta get stuff somewhere, and Walmart doesn't have everything. Though I may not like Bezos' politics, he really does know his marketing: I can order something in the morning on Tuesday and it's delivered by the afternoon Wednesday, with free shipping, and often cheaper than the same item at Walmart.

So I see the Amazon Prime video lineup as a free benefit, since I'm a customer there anyway & I'm not paying extra for it.

Still, I do often wish that there was some more conservative oriented shopping, especially since the latest anti-2nd Amendment push is to get banks & stores to stop allowing sales of anything the Left doesn't like. That leads to bad thoughts while I'm cleaning my guns, so I wish they wouldn't do that!
