(Let's try this again.)
ATTENTION DEMS, SOCIALISTS, WHOOSIES AND OTHER CONSTITUTIONAL MORONS: "... shall NOT be infringed" means EXACTLY what it says.
You don't like it? So the f*ck what? Deal with it. - 7/23/18, 2:51 PM

I haven't read the full story yet, but generally all those local ordinances on gun control get shot down at the state level. Counties and cities do not have the power to restrict the 2A in ways that their state doesn't. They were trying this every year in Philly for a time, and every year it got thrown out by the PA courts. And given that a bump stock isn't even a gun, merely a part, I don't think they've got a snowball's chance of getting their way.

Yup. I was right:
"Ohio, and all states, have preemption statutes that prohibit local governments from passing laws that are in conflict with, or more restrictive than, existing state firearms law. The purpose is to ensure that people are able to exercise Second Amendment rights without fear of breaking local ordinances. "
So bite me, Columbus. - 7/23/18, 6:06 PM
