The left has gotten laws passed to make it damn near impossible to protect ones self. Hiring a militia slides around those laws. You could hire the militia as defined by federal law then join the militia.
Letters of Mark and Reprisal are generally only thought of as applying to sea commercial warfare, IMAO it could be applied to land warfare. If some Antifa twat damages you or your property then request the Militia to go after the property of anybody who sponsors them. Fun could be had. Watch the puckering of various NGO members behinds as the Privateers raid their head quarters, confiscate every thing that is loose, then set fire or skunk spray the building.
