So, I’m watching the Private Lives of monarchs, (Smithsonian channel)





... And they’re talking about how back in the day (I’m laughing here) a ladies patch was so 
important that they would collect the strands and have them weaved into apresentation piece, in order to make it more attractive.

That's called a merkin IIRC.

Bush comes and goes with fashion. The smooth look was in during the Middle Ages. Mega-bush was in during the 1930s and 1970s? Or stayed in the whole time. Beats me, I wasn't old enough to observe any directly at that point.

Having watched the entire thing, it appears that the reason for wearing a little bit of egg muffin was to hide the old disease that the young lady my dad be suffering from.
