On the Tube                            “ Went over to Denny's place coupla minnits ago and read some comments about ghetto names.  Picked up a few new ones I hadn't heard before:  Ejaculetta, Spermolina, and Placentia.  Also got a link to this (which is so cool): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gODZzSOelss&feature=youtu.be Metzger  Funny bit, but some of the others are flat hilarious.  I don't watch Comedy Central anymore—don't even know what channel to dial—so Key & Peele are a revelation.  I got onto a YouTube Mix, and they just kept coming.  Cracked me up.  I'm certain the creators, whom I assume are named Key and Peele—I assume they were mused by Dave Chappelle.  Their stuff is just as funny, but without the underlying "I really hate you white mo-fkrs" rancor that often oozed from his sketches. Substitute Teacher is Aces.   Good one Ron. ”

Cuzzin' Ricky  (C/R) sent me the raw video of this "Mrs. Hughes Live at the Ice House." video.  Never even heard of her, have you?  I watched it and thought before I submit it to YouTube I'll check, because she's too good not to have been discovered.  Yup.  Whole bunches of her videos out there.  Because I'm not around a water cooler every day, I don't know squat.  Anyway, and I don't say this pejoratively, but her comedy reminds me of the early.Roseanne Barr, only not quite as cynical.  Made me laugh out loud more than once. I need laughs.

I discovered Mitch Hedberg a few months after he evidently killed himself.  He is Steve Wright on uppers, literally, as it turns out. Anyway, finding his stuff is pretty hard, so this is like finding a gold mine.  If you're not familiar with Mitch, stick with him for 4-5 clips.  I consider him a comic genius. NSFW - language.  BTW, this site is a real treasure, the only place I've been able to find Margaret Smith, another comedian I very much enjoy.

Here's another guy I discovered during my nighttime XM listening.  Remember, when I listen at night, I'm in bed, and listen to block out the voices.  I'm actually trying to sleep, so when someone comes along who makes me actually snort, I try to remember the name, but you know how that works.  You're sleeping, and have a great idea and want to remember it, so you repeat some key words that will prompt your memory in the morning, but in the morning you've forgotten there was anything to remember?  Took me a long time to remember Fatel's name.  He doesn't look anything like I imagined, which was someone like Jonathon Katz .   His comedy is a blend of the late, great Mitch Hedberg, Jim Gaffigan, and stuff I think about.  This clip is representative of his style, and SFW; not all of his stuff is.  Here's a few more clips.  Remember, this is free. “ Sloppy Drunk A black friend Internet Porn Oral Sex Magic Spot Matching Bra and Panties Fired From Denny's ”
