Liberal racism is real

Get off my bus, Shankar Vedantam

''Another study presented at the conference, which was in Palm Springs, Calif., explored relationships between racial bias and political affiliation by analyzing self-reported beliefs, voting patterns and the results of psychological tests that measure implicit attitudes -- subtle stereotypes people hold about various groups.

''That study found that supporters of President Bush and other conservatives had stronger self-admitted and implicit biases against blacks than liberals did.

"What automatic biases reveal is that while we have the feeling we are living up to our values, that feeling may not be right," said University of Virginia psychologist Brian Nosek, who helped conduct the race analysis. "We are not aware of everything that causes our behavior, even things in our own lives."  -- Study Ties Political Leanings to Hidden Biases

Thanks to Tim Graham for finding this piece of  liberal tripe for me.  Let me axe you something, Shankar, you rat worshipping  towel head.   Stuff like what I just said is not racism; it's anger induced invective.  When some jerk cuts me off on 95, I don't yell, ''you stupid red car!," I holler ''get off the street you Chink bastard"  Would I ever refuse to hire, entertain, or socialize with a Chinese extracted individual?  Hell no.  I do not  assume, one way or another, anything about Blacks, Chinese, women,  or Indians based on their appearance, or nationality. Never have, and I bet you could say the same.   Once you open your mouth, all bets are off though. I do judge based on performace.  So does Shankar.

Let's compare that with Liberals, shall we?  Who is it that assumes whole bodies of people are incapable of achieving,   unless given special protection, opportunity, and help?  Hmmmm?   Who attacks Black Republicans, using any slur  that  comes to mind, because they are Black, and off the liberal plantation?  Hmmmm?   You racist bastards.

Who was that car bomber?

Term Paper Help
I'm going nuts here.  Back in the late 60's a black radical, in the mold of H. Rap Brown, was killed when the car he was driving blew up.  Evidence suggested that he was on the way to car bomb the Harford County courthouse, in Bel Air (MD, when the bomb accidentally detonated.  You'd think that, with these particulars, I'd be able to find the details, but I can't.  Anybody remember who it was?

That Rodger is a mean spirited bastard, ain't he?

Bad me
Forgive my cynicism, but my first thought upon hearing that ABC News Anchor Bob Woodruff  was nearly blown to pieces in Iraq, was that  he ''screwed the pooch,''  and detonated  too soon.  My second thought  was that our guys did the fragging(God, I'm sorry for that).  Hey, you couldn't blame them, Woodruff is part of the media cabal who disinform about the Iraq war  [and most everything else]  to discredit  a president they abhor.  However, I'll say a Novena for  you Bob, because that's the way I am.

They keep talking about drafting a Constitution for Iraq. Why don't we just give them ours? It was written by a lot of really smart guys, and it's worked for over 200 years. And, we're not using it anymore." -- via Mother Superior

HOWARD DEAN  ''There's not one shred of evidence that any Democrat, A, knew that he was getting a contribution from Jack Abramoff and, B, did anything in exchange for it. And that's why this is a Republican finance scandal and not some sort of bipartisan scandal. ... ''

CHRIS WALLACE  '' So if we find ... that there were some Democrats who wrote letters on behalf of some of the Indian tribes that Abramoff represented, then what do you say, sir?''

DEAN:'' That's a big problem, and those Democrats are in trouble, and they should be in trouble.'' -- Transcript: Dem Chairman Howard Dean on 'FNS'

There's no love lost between Dean, and democrat congressional  leaders Reid, and Pelosi, so is this a calculated stab in Reid's heart?  It's inconceivable that Dean is unaware of Reid's involvement  with Abramoff [and of other democrats as well], so it's either that, or a ratcheting up of Howard Dean's campaign of  Nuclear Legerdemain.

In November 2005 the Associated Press reported that Senate Minority Leader Reid had accepted tens of thousands of dollars from an Abramoff client, the Coushatta Indian tribe, after interceding with Secretary of the Interior Gail Norton over a casino dispute with a rival tribe.

Reid "sent a letter to Norton on March 5, 2002," the AP said. "The next day, the Coushattas issued a $5,000 check to Reid's tax-exempt political group, the Searchlight Leadership Fund. A second tribe represented by Abramoff sent an additional $5,000 to Reid's group. Reid ultimately received more than $66,000 in Abramoff-related donations between 2001 and 2004."  -- "Howard Dean Implicates Harry Reid in Abramoff Scandal"
