Agitprop for Chucky Isherwood

I was thinking after that WaPost theater critic post below.  Thinking this.  ''The New York Times must have set a marker that The WaPost (Times Jr.) felt it must respond to.  Let's see.''

Why yes.  ''Times critic Charles Isherwood laments in Sunday’s Arts & Leisure ("Is Lefty Finally Showing Up?") that "Agitprop has become an afterthought in American theater, and the issue of labor relations has largely receded from public consciousness.''

''What, still denial?

Then let me give you this
cool movie clip, perhaps
it can enlighten you of reality.''

Bo Piddly

Come on. Sheesh.   Lefty agitprop is alive and well in theater .. well the movie theater anyway- I can't afford Broadway prices (O irony!).

Last night a poor soul going by ''Bo Chen,''  posted a 4,456 word rant in comments.  Think Unabomber on mushrooms. Obviously Bo hasn't been around here before, or he'd have to know what I think about Robert Redford's ''Sundance'' operation [e.g. Ratbastards in love].  The guy offers as his coups de grâce,  the capo di tutti i capi of arguments, a Sundance film festival clip  (which he probably doesn't know, but it's almost a word-for-word plagiarism of the 1937 Japanese film ''We are boss of you'') - a clip that's supposed to what?  Persuade us to leave Iraq and  Iran  so we can nuke the crap out of China?  I sheepishly admit that I only read the first and last sentence of Bo's scholarly post, so I might have missed something.

What I didn't miss though, is that lefty mofos use popular media as the display case of choice from which to sell their  ratbastard commie propaganda.  But, I already knew that.
