The media ping pong game

The media ping pong game
What's the significance of this ballyhooed story from yesterday.  Is it news that the IRS was investigating the NAALCP?  No, that story broke before the 2004 election.  Probably had something to do with them buying Kerry votes in Ohio with cocaine?  Maybe it was Julian Bond comparing Republicans to Nazis and the Taliban, and asserting that there is a right-wing conspiracy against blacks operating out of the United States Department of Justice?  Maybe it was stuff like their 2000 ad campaign that blamed Gov. Bush for James Byrd's lynching? Or that GOP gubernatorial, and presidential candidates are booed when they appear before NAACP forums?  Do you think there's just a hint in all this that the NAACP might have violated the tax code proscription against campaigning?

Is it news that Republicans might have chafed just a tad over all this, and asked for an investigation?

Nope. This is Donk media ping-pong. Print media stories - most likely suggested by the DNC - are served to the alphabet networks, giving them reason to continue the stream of on-air tut-tutting against the GOP.  I think Republicans in congress ought to file a FCC challenge against their broadcast licenses.  It's the Donk way.

Kinda like the USA Today recycling the story about the NSA "database" from Dec. 2005.
I dunno if you read Say Uncle (saysuncle.com), but he posted some brief comments and I had a good throw-down there with some peeps. I showed that it was a re-hash via the links I posted.

Also, someone recently talked about the Chinese Water Torture of the MSM (I think you linked to it). Wouldn't this be another example?

The NAACP is one of the most selfish organizations in existence.

The NAACP only represents upper income black bureaucrats who use the NAACP to make sure that affirmative action survives. They depend on affirmative action to guarantee continued promotions.

The NAACP cares nothing or does nothing to help the inner city blacks who are held in bondage by the left-wing inner city governments who use bad schools and no police protection to destroy the dreams of many black people.
