Tis far better to have lost a sniffer, than to have never been sniffed at all. But it still hurts.

I feel for you but remember...she'll be waiting for you. What a reunion that will be.

TVF, So very sorry. She was a real beauty. When the tears have dried, her memory will back your smile.

Thanks guys - the barn army really is the best bunch! I'm still kind of numb it happened so fast. She just turned 11 last month and was doing great - I just can't believe she is gone. Of course we'll be vacuuming up her hair for months to come!

TFV,

I'm so very sorry! Nothing makes it easier. We just lost one of our 'Kids' too so we're mourning with you.

Stepperg, I'm sorry for you as well ... I wouldn't wish this on anyone.

Jack, the hardest part was seeing my sons so upset. My oldest son was especially close to her. As a young child he was attacked by 2 Brittany Spaniels and for a long time didn't care for dogs. Jasmine taught him to trust dogs again.

Thank you all for your kind words.

TFV
