Just read a story of how the price of diamonds are kept artificially high,and that there is NO shortage of them also that no matter how you handle it you will NEVER get back what you paid for a diamond (The instilled tradition is that, of course, you NEVER want to sell such a priceless family heirloom)....Maybe the name on the billboard should be,"ROBBINGS".

Not only that. There is one diamond pipe in the continental US (in Arkansas) which the Roosevelt (FD of course, not Teddy) administration shut down.
I don't think there's any proof that the Debeers cartel paid him off but I can't think of any other reason for the closure. -

Must be diamond day. Here's a story about a diamond heist in Wired, which reminded me of a Wired story in 2003 about artificial diamonds. The second story is actually cooler.
