Air Force, '68 to '75. 33 months, 10 days "in-country," so you know where I'm comin' from.

Even today, all these years later, I cry like a school-girl when I hear the National Anthem.

GOD BLESS AMERICA! And all the "true" citizens who long to see Her truely Free once more!

Damn that woman has some set of pipes! I am in tears - always happens. I love this country and even though she embellishes, it is a fine rendition. Some singers have to mess up a good thing - this is the anthem for the greatest nation the world has even known - show pride and sing it as written.

I wish I could find a good rendition with all of the verses. The first verse merely asks a question, the remaining verses provide the answer. Still inspiring.
