It says I should rotate my files to air them out. They need fresh air. "Do you want your mp3s to smell like that?"
Bwaaahahaha. OMG I'm dying here Boss.

I was interested in 1.5 TB for $99, and I get a humorous sales pitch.

SCSI...yeah I had a few choice words for them too...SCSI was among them.

I remember Xerox 860s with 10 inch floppies. And upgradeing my 8088. And the blistering speed of 28.8k modem. And dreaming of a 27 pin dot matrix printer instead of 9 pin. And I still have a Timex Sinclair 1000 in the closet.

Tim,
I remember 300 baud dialup.
At work.

I remember when memory was measured in Kb, not Mb, not Gb.
I installed 340Mb disk drives that weighed 60-70 lbs. My shock was a 1Gb drive that I could hold in my hand. Now, it is a Tb. For less than $100.
J&R (www.jr.com) had a Western Digital 1Tb external for $99.99 with free shipping in their email promo today.

2 words to loosen the sphincters of anyone who was there at the time... 'acoustic coupler'.

Ah yeah, and I once spent $OZ5,000 ($US3,500 then) of other people's money on a 5MB Apple Profile HD which fitted neatly under my Lisa. And around $8,000 for the original Apple Laserwriter.
