Bachmann, Palin good

In Passing
I decided it's time to do my Christmas shopping ... but first:

Sarah Palin on Harry Reid's Unrepealable Death Panel
Sarah Palin takes aim at the health care bill's provision to make it out of order for future Congresses to repeal or amend the section creating the Independent Medicare Advisory Board, which, writes Palin "is a panel of bureaucrats charged with cutting health care costs on the backs of patients – also known as rationing":

Today' "Dump Bachman" tither ...
Newt Gingrich Wants Michele Bachmann to Be Chair of Financial Services Committee
ALSO: Karl writes "Bachmann's farm subsidies hypocrisy was first reported over two years ago here:"  Politco's Glenn Thrush, a lazy reporter of the current style, ran with it.  Sigh, it was all so easy if one simply looked [Gotcha Stupidity]  As for Rep. Bachmnan, she has, evidently, arrived.

Both Sides Now: Obama-Pelosi-ReidCare’s Unconstitutional!
How strange has our Obama World become when two Republican US Senators, Jim DeMint (S.C.) and John Ensign (Nev.), are in total agreement with a tax attorney, Sheldon H. Laskin, writing from the Left?

When you agree with Markos Moulitsas ...
AWK!  But I did, and do agree with his " twittered, "Time to kill this monstrosity coming out of the Senate."  He sees no fix, but a surrender to the Insurance Company lobby.  Yup, the only reform here is dumping another 30-40 million people into the existing pool.  Here's where I think Moulitsas is, unfortunate for Americans, short sighted.  In just a few years, this mess will be so gigantic, so enveloping, that the nation will demand  that government take it over.  Do I know MFCCS or what?

Jon Krakauer's Tillman book
A couple of months ago we linked to a devastating review of Jon Krakauer's new book about Pat Tillman. In some ways, this hurts even more. Because, you know, it suggests that Krakauer has no regard whatsoever for the facts.

What is sad is that Krakauer's Into Thin Air was a compellingly good book.

If I ever open a gun store, I'm going to locate it equidistant from as many post offices as I can find.

Krakauer's ALWAYS been a dope smoking lib turd.
Krakauer went to great pains to justify the virtual abandonment of one of the climbers in Into Thin Air because he was a Limbaugh fan and proud of it.
He tried to make Chris McCandles a Messianic figure rather than the feckless fool that starved in Alaska in the SUMMER TIME.
What do you call a Postal Worker that kills four of his co-workers?
A rank Amateur.
