Alabama’s Rep. Griffith Will Switch Parties
December 22, 2009, 11:32 A.M.
Freshman Rep. Parker Griffith (D-Ala.) will announce his intent this afternoon to switch parties and join the Republican caucus.

Curmudgeonly & Skeptical

Nice demonstration of the fear being felt by DINOs, but --!  If there is a real conservative contemplating a run against him, he/she ought continue.  And the Republican party needs to support that challenger.  Yes, I am thankful that he had the courage to rebuke Pelosi, but the GOP is awash with carpetbaggers like Griffith to its, and our, great detriment.  Here's more like him whom Pelosi has a noose ready for.

Maybe the Dems have decided that things are going to be bipartisan in Congress, even if it means they have to run Democrats as Republicans.

Parker Griffith is the canary in the coal mine.

Look for a lot more switchers and even more who wish that they switched.

And you can count Arlen as a loser irrespective of his coming out of the closet - an ignominious, but altogether fitting, end to a career which began with helping the Warren Commission whitewash the JFK assassination as a simple homicide.
