I remember when you could buy (twenty years ago?) a good American can opener,and it would work perfectly for years and years and a day,and NOW we make none..... ~sigh~

MP School Ft McClellan, Alabamastan, 1981; Marines & Army MPs trained together at that time. We were bemused by the Jarheads calling their P-38s "John Waynes." Yep, THEY needed a training film on how to open a can...

This species can do great harm to power, phone and cable lines.
