Canada's Guns

Canada: Long-gun registry a waste

"Never have I attended a killing when a registry of any of the weapons would have prevented that killing from occurring," said Shipman, who said he's seen hundreds of killings. "The long gun registry is not working to prevent gun crime as it was intended. Criminals . . . do not register their stolen or smuggled guns that are being used to wage war in our cities."
This is maybe the 127,652nd time I've read the truth "Criminals . . . do not register...," not counting bumper stickers, and it still doesn't register with dim bulbs who make, or allow these laws to be passed.  It's why we need more guns in responsible hands. As for women, if pushed to choose, they go for caliber over length.

If it's wrong that those pictures give me wood, I don't want to be right. Chicks with guns > viagra.

I thought Simon Cowels comments last week about the "out of control knife-crime in England" was better than smoking cheesecake flavored crack from a steak-pipe. Got them guns off the streets, it's all good now.

Carrying an offensive weapon (which includes knives with pointed blades) in any public place "without lawful authority or reasonable excuse" in illegal in the U.K. (Prevention of Crime Act 1953) Laws restricting the sale, carrying, use and production of knives are also contained in the Restriction of Offensive Weapons Act 1959, the Criminal Justice Act 1988, the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994, the Offensive Weapons Act 1996, the Knives Act 1997 and the Violent Crime Reduction Act (2006).

As anybody with an I.Q. greater than their shoe size knows that gun control and knife control laws only disarm the criminals.

The attack in China was the fifth in two months. Banning weapons doesn't solve the problem. There will always be something for evil minds to use as a weapon.

I'm not a fan of tats and ear plugs, but cowboy boots and dirty knees on a gal work for me.

Beijing restauranteur killed by a chopsticks wielding fiend.
Government considering banning chopsticks and introducing the use of knives and forks.
Training courses and licenses to be part of the program.
Deaths using the traditional implements as a weapon are expected to drop by probably 1-2 per annum.

Hey...that didn't really happen , did it?

"Naaah."
