Dem Senator:
Negotiating with Republicans "Almost"
like Negotiating with "Terrorists"

Wise White Owl

Negotiating with Republicans Almost like Negotiating with Terrorists

That would be, not that it matters, Senator Robert Menendez (D-NJ) speaking.  Like you, I've spent years trying to decide whether this type of outrageously hypocritical statement made by Liberals -
  1. are cynically designed for effect?
  2.  represent raw ideological beliefs?
Consider: Menendez's statements might fulfill Alinsky  Rule 2

  • : Never go outside the experience of your people.  The result is confusion, fear, and retreat.
All of us have friends and relatives whose head would explode if someone like Menendez told the truth about anything, so there's that argument for contrivance.  On the other hand, even the dullest Democrats (Patty Murray, Barbara Boxer, et al.) are too quick to utter what we think of as "The Big Lie," which sometimes leads me to think they really believe their own s*it.

“Do you allow yourself to be held hostage and get something done for the sake of getting something done, when in fact it might be perverse in its ultimate results? It’s almost like the question of do you negotiate with terrorists.” Sen. Robert Menendez

That quote by Menendez, I think, is a good example of  Boomerang Self Personification (BSP).  Always accuse others of that which you're already doing; it incorporates both  possibilities. Does it really matter though?  When you're dealing with Communists, the Taliban, or Party Line Democrats it's kill or be killed (hyperbolic where necessary).  Bottom line, I'm introducing a new topic, "They may actually believe this s*it!"

It's a fine example of Godwin's Law in action, only with a fellow who thinks he's slick by substituting "terrorists" for "nazis".

Funny, I was thinkin' the same thing about Conservatives 'compromising' with CircleD's.["Working together/reaching across the aisle" bla bla bla] It's ideological war, reduced to the level of cartoonish caricatures [reduced for mass consumption, obfuscation and, mostly, because a majority of the individuals involved are cartoonish caricatures, themselves...].

It's like it always was; compromise on your Freedoms and ya loose another tiny bit of your Freedom.

"Getting along together" is over-rated.

Besides, how would they know? The truth be, if any of them had "negotiated" with any terrorist (outside of themselves) they would currently be headless! What Rep or Christian has done that to them. Once again:
Liars and extremist because they have no truth to share.

p.s. that picture makes this "story" easier to read. :)

In fact, the best thing about that owl is the WTF? look on its face. Just so appropriate. Again.

Standard fare from the red-brown-green axis of terror,
the Communists, the Nazis and
the REAL Muslims...
Or Vlad the Impaler Putin, Ron Paul and Tarik Ramadan, the current
figureheads of the coalition led by conquering Islam.

Lies, lies, lies and obfuscation...

NOTHING IS TRUE,

EVERYTHING IS PERMITTED.

Dems - Pimping class warfare 24/7, buying votes for re-election, to sustain the dopamine high of telling others what to do.
There was a big sign by Schumer, McCaskill (dumpy dumb harridan) Feinstein and Menendacious during their damn the greedy wealthy rant:
Middle class family making $60000 - get $2,500
Make $1 million - get $43,000
Make $10 million - get $400,000
make $100 million - get $3.8 million
Notice they speak of "getting" money, like it's a gift from the government to let you keep what you earned.
That is one sick concept. I hate those MFCS bastards.
