The Headline
In slip, Scott Brown calls Romney 'Republican light'

 The Actual
Scott Brown on Thursday called Mitt Romney “Republican-light” before immediately correcting himself at the CPAC conference in Washington.
The cringe-worthy moment came in the midst of Sen. Brown (R-Mass.) otherwise very warm introduction for the former Massachusetts governor.
“It is my truly, truly my unique pleasure to introduce to you one of the Republican light – one of Republican Party’s bright lights and a man I once called my governor and now I’m even more proud to call my very, very dear friend,” Brown said.
A Freudian slip?

What craptacular crap! In this culture, where people twitter "I just burped," I guess I should be used to this nonsense, but I'm not.  Freudian slip!  Here's your FS; where you want to ask your wife to pass the cream, but instead blurt," You f___ing bitch, you've ruined my life."

Can we weatherize that for you sir?

Obama's federal government can weath-
erize your home for only $57,362 each

The LA TIMES today looks at how those promised 90,000 green stimulous jobs are working out.

Who could forget the $5 billion in Obama administration stimulus money that was going to rapidly create nearly 90,000 green jobs across the country in these tough economic times and make so many thousands of homes all snuggy and warm and energy-efficient these very snowy days?

Well, a new report due out this morning will show the $5-billion program is so riddled with drafts that so far it's weatherized only about 9,000 homes.

Based on the initial Obama-Biden program promise that it would create 87,000 new jobs its first year, that would be about 10 jobs for each home weatherized so far. [The rest of the story]
Raise your hand if this surprises you in the least.  .... That's right. It's another craptacular performance from Larry, Moe, & Curly, Inc.

"If you owe the IRS at least $10,000 ... "

... you can call one of the plethora of lawyers offering to settle what you owe at heavily discounted rates.  Or, you can fly your plane into the local  IRS office (and don't say you've never wanted to).  That the commercials are blanketing the airwaves today is indicative of a larger prollem, I reckon.

At CPAC, a new conservative order
... true to the decentralized and disorganized nature of the tea party movement, much of its presence will be felt in ways that aren’t reflected on the official agenda of the conference, which is largely dominated by the usual conservative suspects.

Democrat Caddell rips White House for obeisance to organized labor
... following his banishment from Colorado Democrat Andrew Romanoff’s campaign for Senate, Caddell said he does not fault the former state House speaker  for cutting ties with him after his remarks from November — in which he called the Service Employee Union International (SEIU) “thugs” and said the goal of the environmental movement is to “deconstruct capitalism” — were made public.

O's 'faith-based economics'
This is nothing but faith-based economics. The White House estimate of "saving" nearly 2 million jobs is based not on observations of the economy's recent performance -- but merely on the administration's unshakable belief that deficit spending must create jobs and growth.
