Wouldn't that be the correct orientation anyway? Or does the Southern hemisphere regard the Northern hemisphere as up and even the people there say 'down South' and 'up North'? Why would they since the North pole really isn't pointing up any more than the South pole is.

Alaska is made up of 375 million acres, 222 million acres is owned/controlled by the Feds. almost 70 percent! So that leaves Alaska only 153 million acres.
Texas is around 172 million acres. With only 2 percent owned by the Feds.
Advantage: TEXAS!!!
