Bristol Noise

Sarah Palin's Biggest Problem
The Bristol Prollem

1.) Bristol Palin:"probably" run for office ˜further down the road"

2.) Bristol Palin to release memoir this summer
Nothing against Bristol, but she is still in her WTF? years.  And guess who people think of when they read these silly "WGAF?"  "news" items. Sheesh.

Answer to your question? Yeah, prolly.

Next?

A reporter calls. You answer your phone. You don't know what weasels are. You expect that you are being asked a question because you have a certain insight into a problem. Little did you know that the article had been written and that the call you received had been made to provide "balance."

It's been more than twenty years since I answered a reporter's questions without first receiving a written copy of his questions. And then, my responses were written.

The older you get, the more comfortable you become with not overstating your own value. If the rules don't fit the reporter's view of what is appropriate, then they just won't get my response. Or, is that selfish of me?

You give reporters too much credit. I don't trust them any more than I do bamsters birf certificate.

OregonGuy is exactly correct. The political poll callers do the same thing; ask a question that only allows for the A or B answers they provide so they can pigeon hole the outcome. I choose to end the calls at that point.
