Just an aside. When I was in Aviation Officers Candidate School (NAS Pensacola 1981), my drill instructor, Gunny Buck Welcher, left for 8 weeks to teach Lou Gossett,Jr. how to be a DI for "An Officer and Gentleman." He convinced the production team snooping around Pensacola that they couldn't do it without him and then got permission from the Commandant of the Corps to go to Hollywood. We missed Gunny Buck (Ha!), but it gave us all a good story to tell.

That was back when he was a Mayor and mebbe thinkin' about higher political office, but then he got distracted by this great idea for a movie.
