Sweep Pakistan Clean!

America’s Worst Ally
After receiving $20 billion in U.S. aid over the past decade, Pakistan is unmistakably America’s worst “ally,” having committed the ultimate betrayal: Hiding Osama Bin Laden. Now, Pakistan is angrily protesting the raid that killed him, refusing to give access to 11 of those arrested in his compound and is supporting terrorists likely to try to avenge his death. Pakistan is not an ally worth defending as President Obama did in his address to the country; it is an enemy worth punishing.

It is inconceivable that the Pakistani government did not know of Bin Laden’s presence at the Abbottabad compound that was obviously designed to hide someone of enormous importance.

There was some suggestion that A.Q. Khan lived just a block away from bin-bins lair. Whether that's true or not doesn't matter. Khan has been  "clandestinely selling or transferring military nuclear technology to Iran, Libya and North Korea was a rogue operation without the knowledge or approval of the political or military leadership of the country."  That by itself warranted a good carpet cleaning of Northern India (aka Pakistan). Still does.

Not to mention the parts from our super secret stealth helicopter they are selling to the Red Chinese even as we speak. Obama screws us again. Bush would have quietly threatened them with total annihilation if they got in the way of our recovery of the aircraft and the witnesses. Well....he might have. One step forward two steps back.

I'm sure Obama has sent them a nasty email telling them he's not happy about this.

Knowing Obama, he probably apologized to them.

It's worth remembering that the Indian Indians threw them out when the Brits left.

The U.S. needs to end all, I mean ALL, foreign aid to Pakistan, starting two days ago. But, with the Komrade Doofus in the White House, we all know how soon that will be, don't we.

There are three major power blocs in Pakistan, the
"elected" "government," the military, and the ISI secret police. Several major tribal factions, several major religious groups variously under the banner of Shia, Sunni, and Sufi, various political parties, all mixing in. I have no problem believing that one or another group or faction of a group (Pakhtun tribesmen in the military would be my first guess) hid Bin Laden, and another faction or group betrayed him to the CIA.

Pakistan isn't really a country, it's the sweepings that didn't fit into India, Persia, Pashtunistan,or Baluchistan. When the British left they drew lines on the map hoping to paralyze the various tribes and they succeeded beyond their dreams, 60 years on. Pakistan is about as near a failed state as is possible to get without disintigrating, held together only by Islam and hatred.
