White flight ...

Blogger faces a black & white & yellow flight

Government Mandated Porn Overload Test

Government mandated porn overload teat: If you see anything in this rollover sequence that suggests other than a young horse breeder ... erm .. a woman who loves horses ... erm a damned fine looking stallion ... My FRIEND FLICKA! you have been watching too much porn.  Stop it.

I know what you've been saying.

"Rodge, I come to this site to read your long and interesting dissertations on what the filthy f***ing democrats are up to.  Longer the better. Of late all I'm seein' are  frivolous photo chopping, general interest stories, and stupid jokes and I'm damned sick of it.  I was going to nominate you for the best political blog of the year, but unless you stop with the inconsequential drivel and do some real expounding, count me out. - (One of 236 nearly identical e-mails received just today!)

Sigh, I know, my kids are telling me the same thing.  But first—

A man walks into the psychiatrist’s office with a zucchini up his nose, a cucumber in his left ear, and a breadstick in his right ear. He says, “What is wrong with me?
The psychiatrist replies, “You are not eating properly.”

Okay, now to the serious stuff.  Read this. Obama faces a white flight.  Here's a kick-start

Electoral racism in its most egregious form is the unwillingness of whites to vote for blacks regardless of qualifications or ideology. So far, Barack Obama has been involved in two elections that suggest such racism is no longer operative. His reelection bid, however, may indicate that a more insidious form of racism has replaced it.

The 2004 Illinois Senate race between Obama and Alan Keyes, two African Americans, was a unique test of old-fashioned electoral racism. For a truly committed racist, neither would have been acceptable ....[Really good, it's what I was about to write myself, word for word]

I-RIGHT-I said...

"President Obama has experienced a swift, steep decline in support among whites - from 61 percent in 2009 to 33 percent now. I believe much of that can be attributed to their disappointment that choosing a black man for president did not prove to be their redemption or the nation's.

The 2012 election is a test of whether Obama will be held to standards never before imposed on an incumbent. If he is, it may be the triumph of a more subtle form of racism.

No sir, you are doing a wonderful thing here. Suck in the "undecideds" with your wonderful jokes and pictures. Save up the righteous fury for the month or so before the election, so it will be fresh and hot and hopefully make an impression on the "undecideds", who don't pay attention to politics (other then to get annoyed and say "Both sides do it") until right before the election....

It's the same way Limbaugh became enormously popular, putting voice to what everyone was already thinking, with humour injected along the way.

Limbaugh is not funny anymore, so I come here to be entertained AND have my opinions and outlook confirmed. Don't change... please.
