Below is the letter that notifies Holder that his defenses have been overrun. From Becca Watkins at the Issa Committee I just received this transcript of a letter by Congressman Issa responding to Holder's whiny jeremiad of last Friday.

Its lengthy, but begins: Issa to Holder: “You Own Fast and Furious”

Dear Attorney General Holder:

From the beginning of the congressional investigation into Operation Fast and Furious, the Department of Justice has offered a roving set of ever-changing explanations to justify its involvement in this reckless and deadly program. These defenses have been aimed at undermining the investigation. From the start, the Department insisted that no wrongdoing had occurred and asked Senator Grassley and me to defer our oversight responsibilities over its concerns about our purported interference with its ongoing criminal investigations. Additionally, the Department steadfastly insisted that gunwalking did not occur. [full]

Mike and David Codrea have been on this issue from the moment the story broke. Actually, they are the ones that broke it. MSM have been dragging their collective feet on this, but it is really hard to continue doing that with all the information that is leaking at this point. Sure, they'll try to minimize the seriousness of this, and focus in other stories - Solyndra, the Iranian Terrorist Plot - they are actually using the word Terrorist (that shows how afraid they are of F&F and how high and wide the administration is involved in it). One thing is certain. It doesn't stop at Holder. Let's ensure that David Codrea and Mike Vanderboegh get the credit every time this issue is reported.; 10/12/11, 7:35 AM

I *thought* F & F stood for Fanny and Freddy, the semi-government collossus that gave gilded bonuses to its Democrat henchmen, and bought all those crappy mortgages sold on order of the Barney Frank Re-Election Committee.
But now I don't know any more.

Is if Fast and Furious? What do we do with Fanny & Freddy? We just don't have enough "F"'s... Especially when we start to grade performance. We'll run out!!
I sincerely hope the Mr Holder goes to jail. And is joined by some of the *other* F & F cast members.

Obama is so unpopular that there will be more than one "Deep Throat" ready to bring him down. They may believe, and they may be right, that this will open the door for Hilary to run. If she even hints, there will be a hundred whistleblowers who know something to come forward.
