I am not making this up, and only privacy issues prevent me from posting video proof, but my granddaughter at age two (she's about to turn three) could

— Find any state, by location, on a blank map and name its capitol.
— Find every country in the world on a globe and name many of their capitols

These scholars will possibly vote in November, 2012, to elect the next POTUS. Then again, they probably don't know what POTUS stands for...
The more I see reflecting the quality of government education the more I wish there was provision to test the knowledge of voters prior to allowing them to cast ballots.

We're really screwed! These are the young men and women society will be counting on when the next major crisis hits!
They don't even know what our culture is, much less have an appreciation for it.

With that stupid music in the background, I didn't hear all the answers regarding the number of states in our country, but we all know it is 57. Da Predanent sed it wuz troo.
Staged or not,the public education system in the USA is fucked and so are the students.

Sondra, it was edited, not scripted. Meaning they took several people and asked the questions and then decided to only include a handful of the right answers. We don't know what the ratio of correct to incorrect answers was, but the kids saying 51 states, not knowing who the dem nominee will be, WERE clueless.
