Palin Quips Mitt

That's The Spirit

Res Ipsa Loquitur

A day after Mr. Romney stood before thousands of conservative activists at the conference and called himself a “severely conservative governor,” Ms. Palin conceded that she was puzzled by his description.

“I wasn’t quite sure what the word ‘severely’ meant,” she said with a smile. “It sounded severe.”  [Palin Says Brokered Convention Would Not Hurt G.O.P.]

Anytime I see the word "severely", I immediately think of Autism or Bipolar.

A brokered convention, even if it ends in fist fights, is superior to the media pick. I don't trust those bastards.

The only downside to a brokered convention is that deals are made, which could make Sarah (for example) having to run with Mitt as VP.

Hey, I don't trust his severe conservatism either. I mean, where's the evidence he ever was one? But we gotta get that severe socialist out of the White House one way or the other. I figger with Sara standing behind Mittens with a switch to box his ears with when he gets off track, it could be worse.

But, it sure could be better. I'm just not sure what that would be at this point. Somebody edumacate me, please.

The Rebublican "insiders" will have a tougher time in a group of people than in their ideasphere of emails and philosophical discussion.

They'll probably have to wear gas masks due the odor of the unwashed masses. After all, they - like the current administration - feel we're much too unsophisticated to determine how our government operates.

I would vote for Mitt if Sarah was the VP nominee. I did it last time. I would be happy to do it again.

Why settle for Sarah being Mittens' or anyone's VP? Why not just draft her for POTUS and let her pick her own VP?

I always thought Mitt was a severely constipated governor.

lol, Ralph!

I'm with Snackeater, if Sarah was Mitt's veep we'd all have to continue to pray the Prez-o-dent dies in his sleep. Maybe our prayers will be answered sooner than later and we will get to heave a sigh of relief, sit back and enjoy America's first Clown Administration under Biden. We sure could use the comic relief.

Have a care what you wish for. A brokered convention could break severely RINO. Power brokers might even see the need to go back to an experienced campaigner like)................. John McCain???

I've already seen TV pundits discussing a brokered convention and saying that Jeb Bush could end up with the nomination. He ain't Mitt, but he sure as heck isn't Reagon, either.

Make that Reagan. Hey! It's early!
