The" Schumer" 100 round magazine

Tails of the Gun

Today's hoot!

ROLLOVER ACTION PHOTO

Sen. Frank Lautenberg, D-N.J., wants to outlaw 30-round ammo clips. Au contraire, ya big Laut.  We need even more capacity.  What if,  for instance,  you find yourself in a chamber filled with 100 filthy dealdly vipers?   And it's them or you?  What then?  .

I won't need ammo for the Laut. Just a couple of buttstrokes to the head.

I'm all for them banning 30 round clips. Ban all clips with more than 10 rounds for what I care. Never seen those, but holding 10 on a clip is hard enough. I kept the 10rd stripper clips from the SKS I traded-in for my AK. I keep them (lots of them) in those Chicom chest rigs, fully loaded. It just takes 3 clips to load my 30round magazines in a breeze, so I don't have to carry more than 9 mags. It's all about the weight.

What you seem to be saying Mile66, is that if you aren't inconvenienced, it's okay for gummint to ban something? I know you don't mean that.

Lautenberg is an EXTREME sore point. That pos needs to borrow one of his bodyguard's firearms and give it a blowjob. And then his amendment needs to be revoked.

Last time I fired an M14A1 full auto, I damned near shot my feet off. Scared me half to death. I was in the seated position with good bone to bone contact, but the recoil drove me straight back and my legs went out instinctively for balance. Luckily I got my finger off the loud button in time and downrange was 70 miles of desert. See Mike and Neal, whose Army MOS was Movie Director, I kid you not., wanted to shot some film of tracer fire at dusk, so we took 2 M14s from the armory and scored some full auto kits which consist of a small spring and the selector lever and made us some M14A1s. Then we stripped a ammo can or two of M60 linked ammo and filled our mags with 100% tracer. It was fun.

The only problem with mags that large is that you'd need to hire a team of professional mag stuffers working day and night to keep the things filled

Not that that stops me from wanting one

mile 66 sell the Prius & get a v8 pick up, you can haul all the ammo you need. We should be able to own what ever we please weapons wise. Remember the Redcoats were coming to confiscate the people's ARTILLERY, not rifles. at Concord.

JLW III stick to air soft bud.

PDwalker stripper clips work great, Federal Mil Surp M855 ammo is around 150.00 for 480 rounds in stripper clips with a key. Lula loaders aren't bad either.

The price on that Beta-C mag is highway robbery. You can get them for around $250 if you shop around. If you want a South Korean version, they're less than $200. - 1911Man
