The bad news is that the Dims may have picked up a senate seat and control of the WI State Senate.

The good news is that the senate is not scheduled to meet again until next year, after the Nov election when half of the seats are up for grabs and redistricting and photo id laws comes into play.

If the unions did win ONE seat, it was a real Pyrrhic victory: they spent tens of millions of hard to replace union dues, showed the nation what they really think democracy looks like, made WI a swing state and dispirited their whiny drizzle troopers.

Wisconsin was a major player in the organization of the Labor movement in the 20th century.

Last night Wisconsin just may have lit the spark that will ignite the demise of that very same movement here in the 21st century.

What goes around . . . .

I take it that "one seat" is still in doubt? If so, an honest recount and check for fraudulent votes will definitely swing things the right way. I'm just saying. HAs Holder found any irregularities btw? Like maybe busloads of UAW workers bussed in from Detroit?

Rodger, you wonderful oxymoron... an honest recount?

I think that it was in Washington a few elections ago that they discovered more fraudulent votes had been cast than the margin of victory. The court left the decision stand based on the reasoning that, although Demonrats tend to be lying cheating pond scum, there was no way to be sure for which candidate the lying cheating pond scum voters cast their fraudulent ballots.

If an election is close enough to steal, they will.

I only wish that the unions and DNC had spent hundreds of millions to defeat Walker and lost. In fact, I'm hoping that SoreAss and the Hollyweird crowd spend $14B to defeat Romney and lose. Now that's a stimulus package I can believe in.
