This morning, Drudge and Noonan are both pushing Condi for Veep. As an Ohioan, I'm still rooting for Portman, good man. But if Professor Rice should be chosen, I'd be so happy I could bite my toes.

USA!!! UAS!!! USA!!!

Sorry Alear, but two terms of "W" are quite enough for me. That choice (including Portman) are so GOP predictable* as to make good men cry. But then you knew that, you rascal?

*It's a win-win Rocky! Rice is Sara Palin but not so radical and she's black so we'll get a lot of Black votes. And the both are proper Republicans.

What Rodger wrote. It's not only predictable, but obvious pandering. Please STOP!

What Rog wrote ll-I'll pull what's left of my hair out if Rice gets the VP nod-I heard Ryan on Levine and I love that guy.

As much as we need him in the House, the VP debates would be pay per view quality. Palin destroyed Biden, he offered numerous lies and misstatements and of course all was glossed over by the rat bastards in the left dominated media.

Plus having Romney's ear, hopefully ala Cheney, would be invaluable-for starters he should never let Romney forget how his state that went for Obama by 14% points, just "reelected" a conservative who
unflinchingly articulated our values.

Well, there's a proven VP who has 4 years of experience ... Just got a new ticker, too.
I was so pleased to have a VP that had further aspirations, seemingly, anyway, and was there for the 'good of the country' and politics be damned, for the most part. A statesman.
We could use one of those now, who has had lots of good experience. IMO Condy is more rino than W. FWIW.

Uh, Condi is pro-abortion.......

No matter what and who, the black vote for a Republican will be minimal. The Latino/Hispanic votes are easier and greater to garner.

Responding to Juice:
Pandering? To whom? Is there any VP choice that you wouldn't consider pandering?

And Rodg, enough of W, eh? Now you're the one playing identity politics. I consider Condi Rice VP-ready in her own right. That she's black, woman, and W veteran, is just a laugh from me to the idiot democrats to whom any of that matters.

Any of you here prepared to argue that Condi Rice qua Condi is not qualified for VP? I'll listen to your argument.

Forgot to mention:
Ms. Rice looks askance at the Russians more than Lt. Tailgunner Dick.

"Condi is pro abortion"

Dick Cheney was pro gay rights, but he didn't push it on people, because his job as a VP is totally different than that if he were holding the highest office himself. Condi would make a great attack dog. She's incredibly intelligent.

And Condi is far less "pandering" than our last pick for VP. Palin's only qualifications were to say exactly what we all wanted to hear, in the simplest terms possible.

I'd put Condi's qualifications over that of a 5/6th term governor any day.

I'll pass on CR for VP. I don't know who would make a good one, perhaps Cheney (experienced) but her voice reminds me of fingernails on a chalkboard (yes I know, a stupid shallow reason...). As for CR being pro-abortion and DC being pro gay-rights, the VP's job is not to be on a soapbox but rather to back up the POTUS and do the arm twisting in the background. I don't recall DC jumping up and down yelling about Criscos getting married.

Would you care to list your Pro-Condi reasons first?

Condi? Hopefully Drudge is kidding.

Never run for public office.
Pro-abortion.
Pro-uncontrolled immigration.
Cries at work.
Another g-d RINO.
Another g-d Bushy (the Republicans had better stay as far away from those morons as possible).
Very brittle affect (a delicate flower unaccustomed to confrontation unlike the pit bull Palin)

With Romney-Rice, you neutralize the main reasons to vote against Barack Milhous Mugabe.

-Romneycare
-middle east imperialism and the never ending war.
-They are both RINOs.

Romney has to have a conservative VP.

Picking Condi would definately lock up the Hezbollah vote.
