Today's Staggeringly Stupid Democrat

YOU BERK!
I guess the King of Spades should be replaced.

Res Ipsa Loquitor

John M. Robinson, the Chief Diversity Officer at the U.S. Department of State, wants America’s diplomats to know that common phrases and idioms like “holding down the fort” are, in fact, deeply racist.

In one recent public relations kerfuffle at Nike, Inc., he wrote, the company torpedoed a sneaker called the “Black and Tan.”  “What a wonderful celebratory gesture and appreciation for Irish culture. Not!” wrote Robinson, an adult.

Robinson notes that “Black and Tan,” –can refer to the brutal Protestant militiamen who ravaged the Irish countryside in the early 20th century

And did you know using the phrase “holding down the fort” is the linguistic equivalent of scalping a Cherokee?

“Handicap” and “rule of thumb” are two more figures of speech that Robinson, in his wisdom, has decreed offensive. The latter, Robinson says, refers to the width of a stick a man could once use to legally beat his wife”  more from the moron: here  [Full]

Picking a fight with a language made by dead people?
Diversity Officers need to be eliminated faster'n you can say Jackie Robinson.

I would never buy anything labelled Black & Tans but then I am not in Nike's targeted demographic.

The phrase "holding down the fort" brings to mind Beau Geste fighting off the Bedouins but then I am a noted racist.

How about we start using these dimwits as words?
Example: "He pulled a Robinson." or "He's a real Robinson."
...for, you know, being a stupid dick...

I've got 3 words for Mr. Robinson (not the Eddie Murphy Mr. Robinson from SNL, but the Mr. Robinson from DOS): "Golfing in Chicago."

What a moron. That "old wives tale" is pure and utter BS. Rule of thumb originated with the imperial measurement system. On average a mans thumb is 1" wide. It also happens to be(it's width, on average) about 1/12 the length of his foot, which is about 1/3 his walking gate. IT'S A SIMPLE WAY OF ESTIMATING A MEASUREMENT.

Berk indeed.

Big company where I used to work had a Director of Diversity - that's a supermanager over the managers of Diversity in each company location, and a Vice President of Affirmative Action, both of whom were no load pus nuts can't cunt beneficiaries of the programs they oversaw. We used to refer to them and their flunkies as Commissars, just like the political officers embedded in every Red Army unit.
Sitting through the nauseous crap they foisted on us made me glad to retire.

Why aren't these assholes taken out behind the woodshed and have some sense beaten into them? Are they really that stupid, or have they been practicing their whole life for that big moment of geniusness?
