The coveted NYT Endorsement- LOL

Barack Obama for Re-Election

Res Ipsa Loquitor

I've truly been waiting for this, the New York Times's endorsement of Obama for reelection, which arrives on Manhattan doorsteps on the morrow.  I couldn't wait to see what possible justification they would, or could come up with this time—for recommending yet  another voyage on the political equivalent of the Titanic. I did know it would a doozy.  It had to be.  While entirely predictable, it is that.

Mitt Romney, the former governor of Massachusetts, has gotten this far with a guile that allows him to say whatever he thinks an audience wants to hear. But he has tied himself to the ultraconservative forces that control the Republican Party and embraced their policies, including reckless budget cuts and 30-year-old, discredited trickle-down ideas.

Sometimes silence is its own reward, and the sharpest sword. .
  • The economy is slowly recovering from the 2008 meltdown, and the country could suffer another recession if the wrong policies take hold.
Secret Code; Blow Me NYT
  • The United States is embroiled in unstable regions that could easily explode into full-blown disaster.
Secret Code; Blow Me NYT *that one is really hard*
  • An ideological assault from the right has started to undermine the vital health reform law passed in 2010.
Secret Code; Blow Me NYT
  • Those forces are eroding women’s access to health care, and their right to control their lives.
Secret Code; Blow Me NYT
  • Mr. Obama prevented another Great Depression.

Somalians Voting in Ohio?

REPORT:
Vanloads of Somalians driven to the polls in Ohio...
Res Ipsa Loquitor

A source, who wishes to remain anonymous, is a volunteer outside the Morse Road polling center.  She has witnessed Somalis who cannot speak English come to the polling center. They are brought in groups, by van or bus. The Democrats hand them a slate card and say, “vote Brown all the way down.” Given that Sherrod Brown is the incumbent Democrat Senator in Ohio, one can assume that this is the reference.

It is galling though to see the Ohio election in the hands of Somalia imports.  They, from  maybe the most radical (and utterly worthless) Moslem country in the world. Ohio Democrats: Res Ipsa Loquitor.

At first when I saw the thumbnail, I thought, he is listening to them introduce him. Then when I saw the full sized one, it occurred to me that he was praying. Then on a drive I thought about the look on his face as he was talking with his creator. It speaks to me that this is the face, the look, of someone that has a testimony of the gospel and has felt the spirit and that he is genuinely seeking out divine counsel. No doubt that he was praying for those that he was about to speak with, that he might touch them and inspire them.

IT WAS OBAMA!

BUMPED UP from 10/27 8:59 PM

BOMBSHELL: US troops in Benghazi would not have been painting targets on the ground unless there was air support overhead. see GATEWAY PUNDIT

"I'm giving you a lot of inside baseball stuff, and maybe putting myself in peril for doing it, but In Extremis Force was turnd down by POTUS at his 5PM Eastern time meeting  .."
This Benghazi thing is breaking six ways to Sunday. What is absolutely for certain is that Obama, Biden and Hillary, the top three officials in an in extremis force situation, are either so staggeringly incompetent as to be criminally negligent, or worse;  were actively working for and with the Islamos who killed the Stevens group. There is no third possibility.

It is also unquestionable that Obama has lied at every juncture of Benghazi, and continues to this day.

This is one of the damnedest phone calls Rush has ever taken.  The caller—unquestionably an insider, lays out why its a certainty that the POTUS THREE are singularly responsible for this debacle.

Texas Warns UN, Hillary Warns Texas

Greg Abbot
Picture originally a screen cap from "The Second Civil War"

The “observers” will in part be looking for voter fraud and suppression activities by conservative groups. They’re only monitoring conservatives because nobody on the other side of the political spectrum has been busted in a voter fraud scam since, oh… Wednesday.

Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott has warned a group of UN-affiliated “international election observers” that they could be subject to criminal prosecution if they breach state laws by being within 100 feet of polling place entrances.

That, I think, is a more than reasonable, even humane action on Abbott's part.  He could after all have (accurately) warned that "UN-affiliated “international election observers will be shot on sight, as enemy infiltrators  during time of war" .  The Obamas of course think Blue Helmets prancing about the country are a great idea..

The US State Department issued a warning as well. No, not to the election observers — to Texas:

International election observers planning to visit Texas polling places have “full immunity” from being arrested in the United States, the State Department said when discussing a letter from the Texas Attorney General.

Full story from the good Michelle (Malkin)

It's very heartening to see that somebody in a position of authority recognizes the threat posed by this, at best blasé, attitude about U.N. interference in our affairs.  Another thing.   It would be a great  gesture, and clear signal on his part, if President Romney replaced Eric Holder with Mr. Abbot, or someone with his disposition.  I don't (sorry Helly and Alear) expect he will however.  I'm still seeing Nelson Rockefeller when I look at him.  I desperately hope I'm mistaken however.

CBS Aks Itself ...

A Plaintiff's Cry
The Lame-stream media reluctance to report anything negative about anything Democrat just got more bizarre.  Here they more or less ask themselves "at what point do we do what we're supposed to?"

At what point does this become a story beyond Fox News? Fox News has learned from sources who were on the ground in Benghazi that an urgent request from the CIA annex for military back-up during the attack on the U.S. consulate and subsequent attack several hours later was denied by U.S. officials — who [...]

Just read today's Washington Post. Nothing on the front page. Did a word search, a brief mention about 3 weeks ago. Shameful. The media is going to pay for the last 5 years propping Obama up...and this...THIS is unbelievable that they are tamping down on a story of such importance. What I want to know is WHY the Ambassador was set up, and that is exactly what it looks like, even if you just look at the little bit out that's available on the web. To me, and of course, I'm guessing like everybody else that cares, it looks like the Egyptian Brotherhood was going to kidnap the Ambassador in exchange for the Blind Sheik. Those two heroes that finally ignored the stand down order JUST GOT IN THE WAY of a planned kidnapping. Gee, ya think Obama had something to do with this? Oh, and by the way, we might not have to guess if the MEDIA DID IT'S JOB.

Other comments
  • IF George Bush had done these things, what else would be on the front pages but this before the election?
  • There is something beneath this story of such profound significance that they are going to such extremes to hide the truth. What was it? A gun running operation?

Now that it's all over for the Obamas, look for CBS's Sixty Minutes, which has assiduously avoided any negative reporting on Obama, to start getting on the record (just as they did with Bill Clinton after he'd been impeached).
