EPA DECLARES WAR ON USA

Obama’s EPA has declared that the city of Riverton, Wyoming, with over 10,000 people is no longer part of the United States and have given it to the Indians.  In essence, all Americans living in Riverton are no longer living in the United States and are not eligible for state or federal services.  They can also be tossed off land they bought and paid for since their deeds do not have to be recognized by the Indians.  The Indians have argued for years that they should get full ownership of 1 million more acres of land because it should be part of their reservation.

The problem is that congress decided the borders in legislation passed in 1905.  If this ruling is allowed to stand, the EPA can arbitrarily take land away from its owners and give it to anyone they choose to.  The governor of Wyoming, Matt Mead is threatening to refuse to recognize the EPA’a authority.  [Duh?] [Story]

Once again, an outrage perped on us by the increasingly brazen-about-it Obama Administration;  so bizarre as to demand disbelief. And once again, I will conclude that the goal of this, many think  illegitimate  government, is to incite insurrection, and thus provide "justification" for suspending the constitution and turning everything over to the creepily named Dept. Homeland Security.  In order for them to get away with this, they must first move to neuter the military command structure that would be prone to resist, and at the same time have an adequately formed armed force to maintain the coup.  If Americans continue to act as irresponsibly as they have recently, by going along with the herd, and ignoring glaring acts of preparation, e.g.,  buying billions of rounds of ammunition, and arming government agencies  (EPA Swat Team!?!) , then so be it.  I've had my day in the sun.  If they want to fight, I'll be with them to best of my (substantial) abilities to fire a very tight group, and without fear for my own life.   USA.

Back in the 70s, the Northern Cheyenne tribe in south central Montana declared a sort of sovereignty for the town of Lamedeer. The tribal council there decided that anyone not of American Indian descent who got off Highway #212 (east-west through the town) would be subject to fines and possible jail time, as well as their vehicles being impounded, for violation of their exclusive rights to their reservation.

That rule was later slapped down by a Federal judge, but it sure made anyone going through that area afraid for their safety.

Something along those lines could possibly happen in Riverton if the Arapahoe tribal council get their panties all in a twist over some slight, no matter whether that sleight is real or imagined. Riverton is a nice town. I have been through there many times in the 60s, 70s, and 80s.

I don't know what brought on the decision by the Northern Cheyennes. It possible could have been because they are one of the poorest tribes in the western U.S. That is evidenced by the state of the two main towns on the reservation, Lamedeer and Busby. Unless something has changed a lot over the last 25 or so years, both town are absolutely filthy, although Lamedeer is somewhat more organized, but still very dirty.

Scottiebill, isn't Lame Deer the place where there is a closed state prison (now a museum), and a nice Ford museum? If so, I was there "touring" in the mid-1980s, while my car was being repaired. The prison was interesting since it had the only portable gallows in the state.

Did I miss something? Where does the EPA come off making decisions like this? What does this have to do with protecting environment? Shouldn't something like this be handled through the courts by the Justice Department?

What? Oh... never mind!

A possible explanation for 0bama's actions can be found here and even if it's not the right one, it's still a good read.

More shit from the Obama administration to keep us distracted and quibbling over smaller issues while they clear out Ft. Knox and destroy what is left of the economy and country.

No, Skoonj, that is Deer Lodge, about 25 or 30 miles northwest of Butte on I-90 going towards Missoula. The closed state prison (now a museum)is right on the main street of Deer Lodge. The new prison is about 3 miles west of town now. The Ford car museum is also there. It originally started out in Circle, Montana, (about 50 miles south of Wolf Point), was moved to Helena for a short time, and is now in Deer Lodge.

Thank you Scottiebill. I liked the Ford museum tour, but was very interested in the state prison tour. Lately I've been thinking about rolling those portable gallows to Washington. There is a great need there for it.

You're right, Skoonj, about moving the gallows to D.D. And let's set it up on the Mall where the much needed hangings will be on display for everyone to see, like the French Revolution and their guillotine back in the late 1790's.

And since when is the EPA now the BLM, the judicial branch, and Congress all rolled into one?

They have ZERO standing here, and ZERO authority. Treaties are the business of Congress, and only Congress. The BLM deals with the tribes, and the high courts decide the legal issues. I don't see anywhere where the smokestack sniffing brigade has any input whatsoever, so EPA should sod off.

But this is just one more shot in Obama's War On White People, using any old corner of the government to enact his will while doing an end run around the Constitution, legitimate government, and the will of the people.
