I'm thinking I'll try not to think about this crap so much in 2014. Focusing on family, faith and keeping my ammo dry (but still reading C&S every day).

That's a good NY resolution Steve, something to think about. I was planning on a 12 month bender but your idea seems more reasonable.

Let's not disregard the very calming effects of a seasons-long blind-drunk.
In my youth I believe it may have been very advantageous.
...of course you'd have to ask some of the locals, as those couple of years are nothing but a happy blur to me. ;) -
