A Birther, Proudly

By far, my biggest disappointment, maybe quandary is a better word, with this blog is the obvious disconnect I have relative to the question of Obama's birth certificate. Disconnect with regular contributors, with whom  I am otherwise dogmatically copacetic.  This latest birther post is an exemplar of what I'm talking about.  Zero comments.  Zero interest.  And not just this time, but for several years now.   It's a land mine topic. I have even on occasion provocatively done a birther post to test this thesis.   For what remains, in my mind, the single most important question of our time. Who is Barack Obama?

Not that I can abjectly say he is not a citizen, although all evidence points to that; but it was
from day one of Obama's 2008 campaign—a declaration by an insurgent government that they were making their move; had control of the courts, the media and were ready to neuter the military. That signal is by now Hitlarian in-your-face action.

The courts dismiss our voices with  curt "no standing"  declarations.  The media, always in the leftist bag, are unapologetically brazen.  Holder's DOJ is unmistakably corrupt, using myriad technology to monitor our every word and movement. We know factually that the the IRS have been given, not just Gestapo powers— they've always had them— but are now unrestrained in their use, and loosed upon the regime's enemies. That would be us.

Had we been successful in making Obama explain why he allowed a lefty blog to  release that initial, obviously fraudulent COLB, and ultimately an equally fraudulent birth certificate, he would have been on the ropes.  Even today a full disclosure would, I believe,  cast doubt on the legitimacy of every thing he has signed into law.  Even Lo-Fos would take note, and, I promise, feel betrayed, foolish, and most importantly scared.  The Obama birth certificate is this regime's fountainhead. That they have been able to  cow us into inaction with invective, ridicule, and the connivance of law enforcement,  means we are now probably left with only rebellion if we are to salvage some of our birthright.

What happened?  Frank Capra would never make this movie.  The audience wouldn't stand for it.

Rodger, the rule of law is dead in this country. Everything now is just a dress rehearsal for the coming civil war.

That's the thing that bugs me the most. How on earth can a registered voter be denied standing in a case that involves the eligibility of the candidate?
Because no harm has been rendered. That's catch 22.

Once the SOB is elected and harm is done after a year or two, anybody in .gov is reluctant to make what would be to them an earth shattering move - a court hearing/trial with documents, witnesses and all that would reveal. The racial, political and international tsunami resulting would be too much to bear in their opinions.
I'm with you Rodger. I think it's way past time to lance that boil.

Over the past 6+ years I've written tens of thousands, perhaps hundreds of thousands, of words on Soetoro, his un-American-ness, his suspicious credentials, his relationship with Frank Davis, his total lack of managerial experience, his overwhelming hypocrisy, his race-baiting, his academic records, and on and on and on.

During that time I've also read hundreds, perhaps thousands, of pages concerning those and other issues which scream to the logic and sanity of any reasonable citizenry that he is a fraud, a puppet, a wastrel, a closet Muslim, an adrogyne, and an ignorant socialist.

My solution to the problem is his demise, the means and method of which are to me immaterial. I refuse to speak or use the name he uses unless absolutely necessary for clarity, and I WILL NOT watch his face or listen to his voice on my TV or my iMac.

But, all that said, if the American voters are so stupid as to elect such an unqualified jerkwad to head their central government, they deserve exactly what they're getting from his regime. My only regret is that I will not be around to see what history has to say of him, but my grandchildren and great-grandchildren will suffer the consequences of his ineptitude.

All the above are correct. And yet, there is (always) this: Those in power, regardless how they came about it, if not constantly placed in check by the body which they govern/control, are going to exercise their power as they see fit. In other words, if the American People do not rise up in a large enough/vocal enough group and call them on their errors/illegalities, they are going to push the envelope as far as they possibly can. So we get an no-nothing running (and winning) a Senate seat in (The Peoples Republic of) Illinois. He is not properly (if at all) vetted. He wins. Based solely on his lies, and the color of his skin. (Character has nothing at all to do with it...unless you are the opposition running against him....and have a hot ex-wife in your political skeleton closet.)

So, you win your senate seat...and wonder of wonders, there is a Presidential opening in just a couple of years after you assume your seat in the Senate. Ya blew smoke up the peoples butts in Illinois...and the press was so busy enjoying the taste of your ....err... blithely Ignoring any thing remotely concerning your personal history....only that you were *gasp* (supposedly) African-American, So why not give it a shot...you were going to do it all along....you already fooled the people once...the stage was set...wash, rinse and repeat,...and bingo...you are in the Oval Office.

I have always thought the man never met the criterial for Natural Born Citizen...and at best, was only "American" on his mother's side. That all the "documents" produced over the years have been proven to be either out and out forgeries...or doctored to the point of being little more than digital vomit. But heaven help you if you critique this asshat...especially if you are lacking the proper hue... And so here we are. The poor bastards in the Ukraine may not be the only ones wondering about the immediate future of their country.

Sometimes, there's nothing left to be said...

And sometimes I just can't f'n take it another time 'round.

I hear Holder has been taken off to hospital today. My! I hope it's nothing trivial.

The question is not who the sumbitch-in-chief is. That are immaterial, and the plural "are" was intentional. We know who, or perhaps what, he is not.

The sumbitch-in-chief is not the legitimate heir to the office of George Washington, on many fronts, not the least of which is his dubious qualifications on many sub-fronts.

The question is, what to do about it. Lighting a candle whilst cursing the darkness doesn't seem to help when all those sumbitches in gubmint and the so-called free press are either complicit or don't give a crap or too damn stupid to see what's going on.

As you indicated previously, it's 1935, or thereabouts.

My solution to the problem is His demise. That's a done deal and it's only up to us to use the power we've been given after that fact. All the rest is bullshit. If you want a better country become better people.

Damn I'm good!

It's settled science - Even Bill O'Rielly says so.

I am certain that Bourbon meant "My solution to the problem is His [POLITICAL] demise. Else I'd have deleted it.

"As democracy is perfected, the office of the President represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day, the plain folks of the land will reach their heart’s desire at last, and the White House will be occupied by a downright fool and complete narcissistic moron." – - H. L. Mencken, The Baltimore Evening Sun, July 26, 1920

Rodger, I'm DiogenesLamp over at Free Republic, and I've always been pleased when I see that you've posted something regarding Obama's birthcertificate/illegitimacy.

I've followed the issue closely since 2008, and I too am disgusted that people are so willing to let this jackass get away with not proving his credentials.

But at this point, I recognize that no one with the power to do anything about it will even consider it.

I think the real point here is that the birth certificate was tip of the spear. The two other branches of government that allowed it out of cowardice or political expedience, and the fourth estate who’s PC sensitivity resisted questioning it are indicative of the stunning (to some) demise of the rule of law. The reset of the spear shaft is still being shoved though the chest or our body politic: the ratification of Obamacare, highly suspicious elections, the IRS targeting of political enemies, etc., etc. I could go on here, but I suspect anyone bothering to read this already knows the laundry list. The point is, our republic has dramatically changed due to this gaping chest wound and will probably never be the same. That is a fact.

The next logical question is what to do about it. We can redouble our efforts to attempt to get the right kind of people in Congress and the White House to repair the damage, while at the same time doing what is necessary to prepare to weather the storm that is sure to follow this grievous wound. To be clear, for me that means doing what is necessary to try to secure a stable life for my family – something not so easy in the face of what is really going on out there. Oh, and there is prayer – I’m told that sometimes that works, or at least helps. There are truly interesting times.
