Terrorist Attack Cover-Up?

Assault on California Power Station
Raises Alarm on Potential for Terrorism

Administration unable so far to pin attack on Tea Party;
Kept silent for 10 mos.

WHO DID IT?

Scroll
The April 16, 2013, attack had not been widely publicized until The Wall Street Journal reported new details in a story on Wednesday.

The attack reportedly started when at least one person entered an underground vault to cut telephone cables, and attackers fired more than 100 shots into Pacific Gas & Electric’s Metcalf transmission substation, knocking out 17 transformers. Electric officials were able to avert a blackout, but it took 27 days to repair the damage. [Full]

Not widely publicized?  This is the first I've heard if it.

Why am I thinking about TWA 800?  Which occured (
July 17, 1996) during Slick's reelection campaign?

We have some easy targets which, if attacked, could cause serious consequences.

I have been concerned about our power grid exposure for years now.

I don't buy not calling terrorism by its name.

A few years ago, some Mohammedan yelling Allah Ahkbar shot up the ticketing desk of El Al Airlines in LAX .

Like they did in Dallas in 1963, law enforcement soved it immediately, reassuring us before the damage was cleaned up and the bodies and victims were hauled off that it wasn't terrorism.

This isn't terrorism, the LAX shooting wasn't terrorism, the Fort Hood shooting wasn't terrorism (workplace violance according to Obama, the obligatory "Allah Ahkbars" notwithstanding) and Bengazi wasn't terrorism.

Speak the truth folks, we need honesty rather than false reassurances.

At 23,000 feet, the plane was near the limit of a stinger's kinematic range of ~26,000 feet.
Effrective range is listed at about 15,000 feet. Still possible though.
The fact that in the hearing, Dr. Thayer cited the perfunctory notes of the FBI witness interviews, rather than call the witnesses themselves to provide sworn testimony, stinks of a coverup even to my conspiracy skeptical mind.
Given that Bubba could not be bothered to get serious about bin Laden and passed on at least three opportunities to kill him, I could easily conclude he did not want to deal with the possibility of such a blatant, successful terrorist success on his watch, and ordered it swept under the rug instead.

I'm with molonlabe 28 on grid and other vulnerabilities. IMHO, America is sound asleep, at the mall or utterly stupid, and any terr willing to eventually get caught has many, many easy targets.

My money is on a hemp beret wearing "occupy" douche in a Che shirt cranking off rounds from his embarrassing P.O.S. Norinco SKS. Good thing he didn't swing up his Saigon toothpic.
