That kind of thing has stopped happening to me since I got AAA premium membership. After several years of no trouble, my wife persuaded me to cancel the membership to "save money". I kid you not, the next day she got a railroad spike through a tire near the local RR crossing.
I immediately reinstated the membership.
There's some kind of Karma about having good insurance that keeps me out of trouble. - 6/21/15, 11:21 AM

Great story from series of frustrations to amazing assistance. AAA is great, been a member for as long as I can remember, but sometimes nothing is as good as a Jimi on the spot!
Hope your CT wasn't anything too serious. Just had my own and need to repeat in 3 mos. I'm focusing on it's not serious. :) - 6/21/15, 12:56 PM

Now you should buy another tire so that they match. Not kidding.

Fix a Flat voids any warranty you have on the Tire. Learned the hard way (that damn tiny writing). So far Jimi is still safe though.

Oh, I think it could have been worse.
Now try buying a new donut tire. If you can even find one. - 6/23/15, 5:44 PM
