Boston U prof skates after 'horribly racist' Tweet

"why is white america so reluctant to identify white college males as a problem population?

every MLK week i commit myself to not spending a dime in white-owned businesses.
and every year i find it nearly impossible.

looting is just poor black ppl’s best impression of Wall Street [thanks for capitalizing that … no pun intended] and the *entire rest of america*. wanting unearned goods is not a black trait

dear white people: u are all ben affleck. those euphemisms for ur ancestors like “farmers” & “pioneers” means owned humans & killed natives"  Dr. Saida Grundy

Do you want actual racial equality? Do you desire actual racial harmony? I have news for you: you’re in the minority. It seems even the most ardent champions fighting against racism are often avowed racists. Case in point: Dr. Saida Grundy, a black professor set to start teaching at Boston University on July 1.

She decided it was a good idea to get on Twitter and pontificate in a most scholarly fashion concerning the obstacles that need to be destroyed in order to achieve racial equality. Unfortunately, one of those obstacles is apparently the entire white male population. Below are some calm, well-reasoned tweets, absolutely none of which were written in ALL CAPS!!!!!!! or without any punctuation at all, and all of which avoid hasty and/or sweeping generalizations. Because that wouldn't be fitting for a college professor. /sarcasm [Last Resistance]

Just prior to stumbling across that Grundy-race bait,  I saw this blurb about "Confederate  Flag at Prom flag" horror on CNN's  Amtrak story page.  The whole Confederate flag is a racist meme has been explained and refuted so many times (myfavorite is Shelby Foote's) that we know not to try.  Rabble rousing race baiters like Saida Grundy, or Barry Obama for that matter, are not interested in reason.  I'll close by paraphrasing Obama's recent comments about why FOX NEWS needs shutting down.

They will find folks who make me mad. I don’t know where they find them. They’re all like, “this is racist. and so is that,  and if you don't believe me then you be a racist mofo, or whatever.” And that becomes an entire narrative that gets worked up.

Brock Seething FOX

When Govt attacks critical media ...

"... I have to say that if you watch Fox News on a regular basis, it is a constant venue. They will find folks who make me mad. I don’t know where they find them. They’re all like, “I don’t want to work. I just want a free Obama Phone, or whatever.” And that becomes an entire narrative that gets worked up. And very rarely do you hear an interview of a waitress, which is much more typical — who is raising a couple of kids and doing everything right but still can’t pay the bills."  Mr. Disingenuous

A proper retort:

In the latest episode of the American Enterprise Institute’s “Banter” podcast, Fox News regular Kirsten Powers, author of the new book, “The Silencing: How the Left is Killing Free Speech,” took aim at the Obama White House for the efforts it had made early in President Barack Obama’s presidency to delegitimize Fox News.
Powers explained this was just one instance of the regular occurring theme of some of the left side of the ideological spectrum trying to limit free speech.
“It’s been gradual,” she said. “It started out with the administration’s, what I call the war on Fox News, when they said Fox News is not a legitimate organization and started this really concerted campaign to delegitimize a news organization. That was the first time where I went, ‘Hmm, this doesn’t seem right.” You know, something is a little off here. This isn’t really the role of the government. It isn’t really something the White House should be lending its stature to and the fact that they were unable – as you remember I voted for Obama and he was very popular when he first came in. And the media was completely enthralled by him. So the idea you couldn’t have one media outlet that wasn’t on board with to me was chilling. It was like, ‘Wow, you need everybody worshipping you.’ So that was concerning.”
Powers said at the time she saw it as an isolated incident, but then as the years went by, there were more incidents that caught he attention.

The Obamissariat

JONESBOROUGH, TN (WJHL) - A sign put up at a Washington County, Tennessee church has people talking. A News Channel 11 viewer contacted us, complaining about the marquee outside.

What you read on the sign depends in which direction you travel down Old Boones Creek Road in Jonesborough. On one side, Jonesborough Baptist Church advertises its Sunday school starting at 10:00 AM. The other side, something totally different, an offer more than an invitation making a point that's purely political.

[Although Obama is the Anti Christ, so .... ]

Well, Brock's own pastor famously proclaimed, "God Damn America," so there's that.
