.45 ACP Ammo

What cockles the tickle in my heart is that various manufacturers are bringing out more 1911 variants in different calibers, there are more 9mm, but they are making some nice reduced size thin frames in .380 also. You can get one in 7.62 x 25 mm Tokarev, and some spiffy slim and short .22 L. If you have problems with your hands and can not take the recoil of the .45 ACP but want the nice trigger pull of the 1011 you now have choices.

That's .22LR dang it.

Yeah, I've been eyeing the RM380. Since Remington started a new production line in Huntsville, Alabama, I wanted to let any early production bugs be worked out before taking the plunge. I will not use a rimfire cartridge for self defense, so that rules out the .22, either in LR or magnum form.
