George Washington: Gender Challenged?

California adds LGBT history to curriculum — starting in second grade

In history class, you probably learned about Rosa Parks refusing to give up her seat on the bus to a white man, but you probably didn’t learn about Harvey Milk, the first openly gay person to be elected to public office in California.

But that’s all about to change — at least in California.

The State Board of Education has approved curriculum changes to include milestones in the LGBT rights movement and contributions by gay Americans. [Full]

I once prepped my daughter for her middle school history test on the American revolution, and found that all five profiles in the study guide were Black or female. American revolution.  Some future dad will have to deal with gay heroes at Bunker Hill.  *SPIT*

Perhaps colleges outside California should stop recognizing a California high school diploma as adequate preparation for admission.

Does the curriculum cover that big cross-country race between the dykes and the queers?

Well, you know the dykes won. They were already goin' lickety-split while the queers were still gettin' their shit packed.

sooooo..... lemme get this *cough* straight: If the individuals in Historic question weren't "out", how would one know if they even were LGBBQBVDWTF?

And if the individuals, themselves, didn't come "out" during their lives, wouldn't that be an involuntary "out"ing?
un-cool.

Or are they just pulling guesses out of ...erm, nowhere?
also un-cool -- but typical.

Good thing they're dead - they'd kick your little b!tch asses.
...they might anyway
heh.

@Anonymous : 7/20/16, 5:23 PM - With the possible exception of the Navy, Army, and Air Force academies, whatever makes you think other colleges and universities aren't already embracing the CA curriculum to the point of even making it a prerequisite? Hmmm? -- General Petty Officer Fifth Class Skyhawker Doug

One more thing: Go Navy! Beat Army!
