Those stove top drip pans? If they're chrome or enamel, and this includes the oven racks and roasting pan, soak in ammonia overnight.

Then wipe clean.

Silly. Surfactants and heat are great for clearing water soluble, cellulosic glunk.

But this is not going to touch burnt-on proteins which form insoluble polymers.
