Report: RNC Staffers Instructed to Leave if They Don’t Back Trump

Staffers at the Republican National Committee have been instructed to leave by the end of the week if they don’t support presumptive nominee Donald Trump, according to a report Thursday.

According to an article in New York Times, some RNC staffers “were told Wednesday that if they were unable to get behind the nominee, they should leave by the end of the week.”

A spokesman for the party quickly dismissed the report, calling it “not true.”

Then there's this:

GOP pollster: Trump will lose in November

Staffers at the Republican National Committee have been instructed to leave by the end of the week if they don’t support presumptive nominee Donald Trump, according to a report Thursday.

Should we call it a purge? Or a realignment?

Ann Coulter, Right Again

Ann Coulter On a Ship of Fools
Only Survivor
(The Bill Maher Show)

Bill Maher: Ann, which Republican candidate has the best chance of winning the general election?

Ann Coulter: Of the declared ones, right now, Donald Trump.

(Maher's Liberal audience roars).

Ann Coulter: If you ran Bernie Sanders it would be much tougher… It would much tougher to beat him than Hillary.

She nailed it.

Daily Callerfeel embarrased.

ASHBY

  • High-school Nerd  (Nat Wolff) enters into a friendship with his neighbor, Ashby (Mickey Rourke), a retired CIA assassin who only has a few months to live. The film is a coming of age, approaching death comedy drama.
Two Things
  1. I'm trying to think of a Mickey Rourke movie I've seen where he didn't play some psycho.  Maybe Diner. Well, this is one, but it is touch and go.
  2. Who in god's name would cast Sarah Silverman as Ed Wallis's mother?  Albeit a nymphomaniac.  And make it work? Director  Tony McNamara got away with it.
MoSup picked this movie last night, and I loved it (so did she, but less so perhaps). You just have to go with it, like the cheesy football game scenes.  And accept that a 17 year old girl has a MRI machine in her basement (her dad being a neurologist) and uses it like a toy. Did I say very cute 17 year old girl?

Quirky.

I'm pretty certain you'll watch it to the end, and not feel cheated. We watched on Netflix.

Trump's deportation plan

                                           Invaders

Donald Trump's vow to round up and deport all of America's undocumented immigrants if he is elected president could shrink the economy by around 2 percent, according to a study to be released on Thursday by conservative think tank the American Action Forum.

The research adds to concerns about the Republican White House nominee's policy proposals, which range from tearing up international trade agreements to building a wall along the U.S. border with Mexico.

About 6.8 million of the more than 11 million immigrants living in the United States illegally are employed, according to government statistics. Removing them would cause a slump of $381.5 billion to $623.2 billion in private sector output, the Washington-based non-profit said in its analysis.

The study added that removing those workers could leave potentially millions of jobs unfilled due to a lack of legal workers willing to do them. Industries with the highest share of undocumented workers include farming, construction, and hospitality, according to the research. [FULL]

Comments I found on Free Republic:

  • If we shut off federal and state welfare benefits to these illegals it would definitely slice a point or two off of the GDP.  That tells you the folly of the GDP calculation rather than the size of the actual productive economy. Balance the federal budget, and watch the GDP fall 20%. Are we really saying that deficit-funded “growth” is real?

  • Trump’s deportation plan will consist of declaring every post office a Mexican embassy for a day. Then they will be given papers to re-enter legally on the spot.

  • No mention of the expected savings from reducing medical, food stamps, welfare, and everything else for these freeloading foreigners?I’d bet we come out waaaaaay ahead.

  • More GOPe BS, the economy will actually improve, tax revenues will increase, sea kevels will lower, the planet will cool, birds will sing, muslims will love Christiams. See I can do what they do, make stuff up.

  • Trump is the nominee. So why is a “Republican think tank” releasing a phony attack “study”? Because the GOP is all about open border and cheap labor for profits at the expense of Americans. And they WANT to hurt Trump, and help Hillary. She will keep the borders wide open and not deport a single illegal.

  • Liberals are only concerned about “cost” when it fits their agenda. What do all the feel good regulations cost our GDP?

  • More lies from MSM. We are sending &24 billion in cash out of the country via illegals. In return we get no income taxes, food stamp costs, schooling of kids cost, Obama phone costs, Medicaid cost. Prison costs for those that are convicted.Sending illegals back will save us many, many billions.

  • Legal workers can’t even apply for jobs filled illegally by illegal workers. If the wages were not suppressed by illegal workers willing to work for less, there would be legal workers willing to hold those jobs.Whole occupations have been snuffed out of the living wage category by illegal competition. Construction jobs are a prime example. Now drywall, painting, roofing, etc. are taken over by immigrants.A pox on those who hire illegal workers, and claim the economy is better off!

  • I didn’t come up with the idea. http://blog.dilbert.com/post/134199547831/how-trump-can-solve-immigration  I’m just waiting for the giant left turn. Wait and see, we’ll know soon enough who was right.
I'll add ... because they're  ILLEGAL!

Can Dems Trump Hilly?

Limbaugh: Trump Beats Hillary in Landslide
(usual suspects disagree)

RUSH:

I still don't think people understand why Trump won this.  I don't think they understand at all the reason people support Trump.  And the deeper people are entrenched in politics, and the more they are accustomed to the templates and the handbooks and the theories and the playbooks, the less they're gonna understand it.  The more they try to plug Donald
My point is, the millennials think the country's seen its best days. They don't blame the Democrats for it 'cause nobody tells them. Nobody explains to them that the reason they are in great suffering and have (in their own minds) no future is because of Democrat Party left-wing policies. But nobody tells 'em that. So they are left to assume that America is flawed.
Trump and his campaign and his personality into the professional  politician candidate playbook that they use, the farther and farther from the truth they are going to get.

I've tried to help. During the course of this entire campaign, I've gone to great lengths to try to explain to people what it is about Trump, why he has his supporters, why they support him, and what you have to do to separate them from Trump.  Basically, you can't.  That's the bottom line.  There's nothing any professional politician can do.  They've done everything that they knew how to beat a candidate. They threw everything they had at Trump.  I mean, the negative ads that they ran against him, these #NeverTrump guys and their PACs in all these states?

[...]

How in the world does Hillary go from losing after losing after losing to becoming a triumphant victor at the Democrat convention when she didn't win diddly-squat except superdelegates in the Democrat Party?  And I guarantee you, the AP and the media and the Democrat Party, they're not factoring all of this in because they're sitting there saying, "We're the Democrats! We're invincible. We own the media. We don't lose."  They don't have... They haven't figured out yet that the media wants Donald Trump to be elected president.

They haven't figured out the media wants Trump in the White House because it's gonna be the most fun four years they've ever had.  It'll be fun. They'll try to take Trump out. They'll be able to party with Trump! They'll go to the White House. They'll be able to do everything they do as media; they'll be able to trying to destroy him. He'll expect it. He'll toy with 'em. They'll get to cover him, go wherever he goes. It's gonna be unexpected, unpredictable, ratings boosts and all kinds of stuff. Make no mistake: In the Drive-Bys, this is universal.  There's nothing exciting about Hillary Clinton.

She's been there, done that, in a lot of ways [FULL RUSH]

I have one caveat.  Yes, Dem muck-a-mucks may realize that they're looking at a loss of epic proportions; I mean Reagan-Carter²so what's the only card they have left to play, to stop her nomination?

If there's a reason the media and Obama have failed to put this story to sleep it's that trump card.   Perp walk her. But, if they play ituh, Hillary has computer files (including FBI files)  on every pol in the country.  Ahem. Lung cancer is their only hope.
