The Russians Hacked Democrats’ Plans to Cheat in the General Election, Too A New York Times report on Saturday claimed that FBI Director James Comey decided to reveal that he was re-opening the investigation into Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton because he suspected Attorney General Loretta Lynch was covering up for her — and because an email found by Russian hackers seemed to support those suspicions. Now, according to the Times, another hacked document, purportedly stolen by Russians, may have revealed collusion between the former Attorney General and the Democrats to ensure Hillary Clinton’s victory in the general election. The Times’ investigative report suggests that a U.S. intelligence agency managed to intercept some of what Russian hackers were stealing — and that one document, “described as both a memo and an email, was written by a Democratic operative who expressed confidence that Ms. Lynch would keep the Clinton investigation from going too far.” Now, according to the Times, another hacked document, purportedly stolen by Russians, may have revealed collusion between the former Attorney General and the Democrats to ensure Hillary Clinton’s victory in the general election. According to the Times, Comey feared that Lynch — who had insisted the Clinton probe be referred to as a “matter” and not as an “investigation,” and who suggested it the investigation was not criminal when, in fact, it was — would declare the case closed, and then Russian hackers would leak the document to undermine the FBI’s image of independence. The Times notes: “Mr. Comey’s defenders regard this as one of the untold stories of the Clinton investigation, one they say helps explain his decision-making.” And if a local news reporter in Phoenix had not caught Lynch meeting with former President Bill Clinton, she might have succeeded in sheltering the Clintons even more effectively than she had. When Comey’s letter to Congress about the re-opening of the investigation was revealed on October 28, it changed the contours of the presidential race — arguably by uniting reluctant conservatives around Donald Trump’s candidacy. He knew that if he was investigated for a federal crime, his phone and computer would be seen, along with any Huma and Hillary e-mails on them. Had he just turned the e-mails over to the cops or FBI, he knew they would disappear and his life would be in jeopardy. But this way, those e-mails seem like collateral damage. One of the things we may never know is whether there are any e-mails between Huma Abedin and her Muslim Brotherhood controllers. If so, that could put a whole new wrinkle into this case, though it might be kept quiet. There might be something there, since a lot depends on how stupid Huma thinks Weiner is. That may be pretty stupid, since there are said to be tens of thousands of e-mails pertaining to the Clinton case. She may have simply felt that he was so stupid that he wouldn't open the cache himself, nor stumble on any password or other protection. Will the FBI tell us if there is something like that in the e-mails? I'm not sure. Huma is said to be in hiding since this broke. Indeed. And if there is serious communication between her and the Muslim Brotherhood of a mission-oriented character, she may well be getting ready to flee the country. OK, now here's a question. We know Comey wasn't willing to stand up to AG/DOJ, Lynch. Now he comes out with another investigation that presumably would go through her to prosecute. What has changed? Has she given her OK? Is this a ruse to suck in Republicans? Has he decided to run out the clock till 20JAN, when Lynch leaves office but he remains at the FBI? skoonj Very good questions skoonger.  What adds a bit of credence to yours,  is "Vice President Biden calls James Comey ‘a straight guy,’ despite being a Republican. If so, she is absolutely disqualified for, not just the presidency, but  driving a car!  That, on top of her other pathologies ... Ahem.  BTW, it would seem certain that her physicians are aware of this, and patient confidentially be damned, ought be ringing alarm bells.

But nothing on the interview ever appeared in The Times, either online or in print. Director James Comey said none of those things that you told the American public were true,” Wallace said. But that will not be enough. Are polls understating Donald Trump's support? At least some are beginning to hedge their bets. The answer (not contained in the Daily Grind column) is puh-leeeeze.  The "progressive" media have, since ca. 1984, used their stranglehold on print and televised media to shape elections. They use their own  exit polling (like the infamous V.P.S.) to discourage  conservative voters.  They print rigged polling results.  They heap ridicule on anybody deemed too conservative. But this is a new ball game. The "silent majority" that swept Reagan into office have always been there, but until now they haven't despised the nation's leadership enough to seethe.  And there's Trump's opponent, Hillary.  A poll just taken by a CBS news station in Virginia shows an astounding  82% want "Hillary Clinton criminally prosecuted."  I will not be the slightest surprised if, before her nomination, she "stars" in another of the myriad "strange deaths" that are a Clinton hallmark. Ahem. Right now you can make book on President Trump.  What's up in the air is: will voters punish those in congress (every Dem and quite a few Republicans) that have marched in Obama's army of destruction?
